Some other ideas that I forgot to mention:
-having students bring their own water bottles to school so they don't have to use the drinking fountain.
-bringing tupper wear for lunches instead of plastic baggies
-having a lunch box as opposed to a paper or plastic bag
-only using one sheet of paper towel after washing hands
just ideas that i have been researching online
So I think those are great ideas. Are we coming up with something that kids can implement in their classroom? Or are we informing them on recycling or ways to actually recycle? I was just wondering because when it comes to recycling, I know from personal experience, a lot of people aren't even aware of all they can recycle. For example, you can recycle not only paper and plastics, but batteries and technological equipment as well.
